On 26 August, China National Building Material Group Company Limited was reorganized with China National Materials Group Corporation. A new company named China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. was established. Under the care and guidance of the SASAC, China National Building Material Group took swift action and promptly established the board of directors and the management team. Chairman of China National Building Material Group Song Zhiping and secretary of the party committee of China National Building Material Group Liu Zhijiang paid high attention to the establishment of departments of the headquarters and the appointment of middle-level cadres, and made important instructions many times. Chairman Song Zhiping required the headquarters to work effectively and be able to work as soon as possible. Under the guidance of the leaders of the Group, functional departments of the headquarters of the new group were established, and heads of every department went to the posts one month after the reorganization. The headquarters of the two groups achieved seamless connection.
On 30 September, the new middle-level cadres tea party was held at the headquarters of China National Building Material Group. Secretary of the party committee and vice chairman of the Group Liu Zhijiang, general manager and member of the standing committee of the party committee Cao Jianglin, and member of the standing committee of the party committee and secretary of the discipline inspection commission Yang Jie, secretary to the board of directors and general manager assistant Guang Zhaoyu attended the meeting. All new middle-level cadres of the headquarters of the Group attended the meeting. Employee director, chairman of the Labor Union and general manager of the HR Department of the Group Wang Yumeng presided over the meeting.
In the new appointment talk section, Cao Jianglin made a brief explanation for overall principle and basic idea of the arrangement scheme for middle-level cadres of the headquarters of the new group. He brought up three general requirements to new middle-level cadres including change of status, sharing responsibilities, practicing culture, team building, promoting integration, focusing on learning, improving quality, and setting a good example. He also brought up eight specific work requirements that cadres should have political overall condition awareness, be on job promptly, practice culture, enhance learning, build a good team, focus on digitalization and efficiency, do a good job in coordination service, and accumulate experience at the front line.
In the incorruption talk section, Yang Jie brought up four requirements: We should enhance study awareness, improve political quality. Importantly, we should keep a cool head, and treat correctly positions, power, fame and wealth; we should enhance the sense of discipline, maintain a reverence for discipline, actively accept supervision, and strictly carry out self-supervision, and actively carry out supervision; we should enhance incorruption awareness, strictly discipline ourselves, conscientiously respect ourselves, examine ourselves critically and be independent; we should enhance duty performance awareness, enhance the sense of responsibility, and keep self-conscious, principled and scientific.
In his speech, Liu Zhijiang brought up specific requirements in three aspects. First, we should have political overall condition awareness, unify our thinking, and put the overall interests of the new group and stable development of the new group before anything else. Second, we should focus on the reorganization of the Group and its future development, overcome poor spirit, bad working state and terrible working style, and eliminate dependent mentality, being afraid of difficulty and complacency. We should carry out various kinds of work of the new group full of passion, confidence and drive. Third, we should be strict with ourselves, deeply understand the criterion of good cadres of "Having a firm belief, serving the people, being diligent and pragmatic, facing up to responsibility, and being honest and upright". We should do a good job in the construction of working style, and honesty and self-discipline. We should have no desire to be corrupt, instead of not daring to be corrupt or being not able to be corrupt.
In the meeting summary section, Wang Yumeng said, we should seriously study and understand, and implement the spirit of the speech of chairman Song Zhiping made in the cadres meeting, and the spirit of speeches of secretary Liu Zhijiang, general manager Cao Jianglin, and secretary Yang Jie. We should live up to our responsibilities, and build up good personal and department images. We should set a good example, cultivate a good team, be an excellent member of the communist party and a leading cadre of party members, and never betray the trust of the party.
