Song Zhiping was invited to participate in the 11th China - EU Business Summit and delivered speeches



On July 13th, the 11th China-EU Business Summit was held in the Great Hall of the People. Premier Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council, and President of the European Commission, attended and delivered speeches. The conference was chaired by Jiang Zengwei, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The theme of the conference was Emerging Opportunities for Comprehensive Cooperation in a Changing Industrial Landscape Upgrading, Two-way Investment, Connectivity, and Exploring Synergies between the "Belt and Road" and EU Flagship Initiatives, and more than 600 entrepreneurs from both China and Europe attended the conference. Song Zhiping, Chairman of China National Building Materials Group was invited to attend the event and delivered speech entitled "China and Europe together to explore the markets in implementing the Belt and Road Strategy".


Song Zhiping had combined CNBM's business operations carried out in EU countries and elaborated that the Sino-EU cooperation was entered into a new stage. He pointed out that China-EU cooperation had entered into high-end and comprehensive cooperation stage from the previous introduction of technology and equipment, and achieved connectivity; and transformed from one-way investment to two-way investment. Song said that CNBM carried out extensive international cooperation in the areas of cement, glass, new building materials, new houses and new energy, and jointly developed third-party markets with well-known European companies. China-EU economic and trade cooperation had become an important basis for stable growth in Europe and the world. The development potential for China-EU market is great, and he hoped EU countries to give same treatment of Chinese enterprises as the local enterprises, achieve common cooperation and mutual benefit and win-win situation. CNBM will make greater contributions to strengthening Sino-EU economic and trade cooperation and international production cooperation.

The China-EU Business Summit is jointly organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, European Commission, and hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China European Chamber of Commerce and other organizations. At the same time, the EU and China businessmen discussed the priorities and hot topics in Sino-EU economic and trade cooperation, which was great significance of holding the meeting in the context of "Belt and Road" and "International Production Cooperation".
