On 29 January, chairman of China National Building Material Group Song Zhiping met with minister of finance of Thailand Apisak Tantivorawong. Both parties made deep discussion on cooperation in relation to high-end industries such as new type building materials, new type housing and new energy. Both parties wish to enhance cooperation and jointly promote investment and development of China National Building Material Group in Thailand.
Song Zhiping extended warm welcome for the visit of Tantivorawong and his company, and introduced the development status of the Group. China National Building Material Group is one of the world's top 500 enterprises and the largest building materials enterprise in China. It ranks No.1 in the world in terms of business scale of cement, ready-mixed concrete, plaster tablet and glass fibre. Its other businesses include new type housing, PV, wind power, carbon fibre, and EPC engineering services of cement and glass. Its overseas businesses have spread all over the world. Song Zhiping said, right now, the Group runs its businesses in Thailand smoothly, and has strong faith on the future development of Thailand. It will consider Thailand as the target country for investment and operation in Southeast Asia Area, make full use of local advantages to promote the development of new type building materials and new type housing.
Tantivorawong expressed his gratitude for warm reception of China National Building Material Group, and had a deeper understanding of the global operation status of the Group and the progress of current investment made by the Group in Thailand. He said, this year is a year to promote investment in Thailand. The government formulated new favorable policies to attract foreign investment. In the future, Thailand will have a huge demand for building materials. He wishes that CNBM can grasp opportunities to increase investment in Thailand.
