On 21 September, the second session of "Chinese-Japanese Entrepreneur Dialogue Session" was jointly held by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Japan-China Economic Association, Japan Business Federation, and Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Beijing. Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jiang Zengwei, chairman of Japan-China Economic Association Shoji Muneoka, and chairman of Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Akio Mimura attended the meeting and made a speech. After the meeting, member of the standing committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and vice premier of the State Council Zhang Gaoli met with representatives from Chinese and Japanese enterprises at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. More than 200 representatives from Chinese and Japanese enterprises attended the event.
Chairman of China National Building Material Group Song Zhiping attended the meeting at invitation and made a keynote speech about the structural reform of the supply front and cutting overcapacity. Based on the development status of Chinese cement industry, Song Zhiping shared measures taken by China National Building Material Group in cutting overcapacity of cement, energy saving and emission reduction, developing renewable energy, and business communication with relevant enterprises in Japan.
Song Zhiping said, China National Building Material Group pushed ahead power generation with waste heat and comprehensive use of wastes, reduced carbon dioxide emission and energy consumption in the building materials manufacturing field. It vigorously developed the new energy industry and responded proactively to climate change. He said, Chinese and Japanese enterprises have a long history of cooperation. Now the industry is at the phase of integration development. Both parties have broad prospects for cooperation. Under the new circumstances, China National Building Material Group will continue to carry out extensive cooperation with relevant Japanese enterprises, and work together to make due contribution to the cooperation and development of Chinese and Japanese economy.
